Operation Highjump Highjacked By UFOs

Operation Highjump Highjacked By UFOs

Antarctica may be the last place you expect an alien invasion to be happening but it seems like there is more going on than meets the eye. The apparently desolate isolation of the pole appears to be the perfect hiding space for unidentified crafts. In 1947, the navel mission known as “Operation Highjump”, led by Admiral Richard E. Byrd, was organized so that officers could look for possible resources Antarctica may have to offer, such as coal deposits. However, the military team, which in addition to U.S. naval officers included 4,000 troops from the U.K., Australia, and Canada, encountered violent resistance which forced troops to withdraw.

Unexpected Attack by Flying Objects

Admiral Richard E. Byrd: does he look like he’s joking?

During “Operation Highjump” several ships disappeared, never to be found. Admiral Byrd spoke to a newspaper reporter in San Diego, Chile. The article read, “Adm. Byrd declared today that it was imperative for the United States to initiate immediate defense measures against hostile regions.” Furthermore, Byrd stated that he “didn’t want to frighten anyone unduly” but that it was “a bitter reality that in case of a new war the continental United States would be attacked by flying objects which could fly from pole to pole at incredible speeds”.

The Mysterious Death of Admiral Byrd

Admiral Byrd spoke repeatedly of his point of view regarding defense against these flying objects. Eventually he was hospitalized and banned from talking at press conferences. Before dying in 1957, Byrd was placed in charge of another mission to explore Antarctica called Operation Deepfreeze. When he died, many suggested he was murdered for what he knew. He certainly was privy to a lot of classified information between “Operation Highjump” and “Operation Deepfreeze” and seemed intent on warning the public about his findings.

Incidents Outside of Operation Highjump

Antarctica played a big role in the Stargate series and was probably inspired by stories of Operation Highjump.

This isn’t the only occasion alien crafts have been seen in Antarctica. Several reports through the years site various encounters. A common sighting that is very strange is that of unidentified crafts that are usually submerged under water, coming up and down in the ocean. Some reports claim that the USO (Unidentified Submerged Objects) have messed with both ships and flying crafts upon emerging from the ocean. Many believe the fleet of USOs rests in the Antarctic ocean but is able to dimensionally relocate to other areas before returning to the Antarctica sea. These USOs have been seen in many areas around the world, including the Southern tip of Chile, California, and Mexico.

The world seems to hold a lot of secrets and the governments around the world have never really been forthcoming with the truth regarding a lot of the strange UFO activity seen throughout the world. With the crash at Roswell occurring in 1947, Operation Highjump happening only months later, and follow up missions in Deepfreeze occurring between 1955 and 1958, the UFO activity seems to have all spiked at the same time. For the last 4 decades USOs have been seen emerging and submerging throughout the oceans as well. The timeline certainly appears linked, as the increase in UFO sightings in general have increased since these dates. Will we ever know what this is all about? Will the government ever reveal its secret alien files? Only time will tell.
